The Sorrento Platform Bed sits low and wide, with a fully upholstered surround that extends past the mattress on three sides to create a soft floating ledge around the bed.

The rounded headboard runs the full width and curves gently at the corners, with no hard edges or exposed frame anywhere. The wide side ledges give you somewhere to rest a book or a cup, which means the bed can work without bedside tables in a tighter room.

Handcrafted to order in our Pretoria workshop in six colourways. Mattress not included.

Frame: Kiln-dried SA pine with plywood panelling and CNC-cut rounded corners
Headboard: Full-width curved profile, foam padded with no exposed frame
Surround: Upholstered ledge on both sides and the foot, firm enough to sit on
Mattress support: Slatted base, recessed into the platform
Upholstery: 100% polyester, available in six colourways
Base: Concealed feet with floor glides
Includes: Headboard and platform base — mattress sold separately
Assembly: Assembled on delivery

Care

Vacuum weekly with an upholstery attachment
Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — do not rub
Spot clean with mild soapy water and a soft cloth
Do not bleach or machine wash
Use a coaster or tray on the surround ledge to avoid marks
Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading

This bed has a wide upholstered surround, so its footprint is much larger than the mattress. Please measure your room against the overall sizes below, not the mattress size.
