The Kensington Corner Couch is the softest of our tailored range — deep seats, wide rolled arms and thick loose back cushions you sink into rather than sit on.

It comes with a large matching ottoman rather than a fixed chaise, so you can pull it up as a footrest, push it aside for floor space, or use it as extra seating when people come over.

Upholstered to the floor with no visible legs. Handcrafted to order in our Pretoria workshop in six colourways.

  • Includes: Corner couch and matching ottoman, plus scatter cushions as shown
  • Frame: Kiln-dried SA pine with plywood panelling
  • Seat cushions: High-density 30kg/m³ foam with a generous fibre wrap for a softer sink, removable covers
  • Back cushions: Loose fibre-filled cushions, plump to reshape
  • Suspension: Elasticated webbing
  • Arms: Wide rolled profile, foam padded
  • Upholstery: Smooth woven fabric, 100% polyester
  • Base: Fully upholstered to the floor with concealed glides — no visible legs
  • Corner: Choose left or right facing when ordering — stand facing the couch, the corner return is on that side
  • Assembly: Delivered in sections and connected in the room

Care

  • Vacuum weekly with an upholstery attachment
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — do not rub
  • Spot clean with mild soapy water and a soft cloth
  • Do not bleach or machine wash the covers
  • Plump the back cushions weekly — loose fibre cushions flatten without it
  • Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading
