The Chelsea L-Shape Couch keeps things simple — a low, clean-lined three-seater with an open chaise, softly padded arms and attached back cushions that hold their shape without daily plumping.

The lower back and slimmer arms make it a good fit for smaller lounges and apartments, where a tall couch would close the room in.

Handcrafted to order in our Pretoria workshop in six colourways. Chaise available left or right facing.

  • Frame: Kiln-dried SA pine with plywood panelling
  • Seat cushions: High-density 30kg/m³ foam with fibre wrap, removable covers
  • Back cushions: Attached and foam filled — they hold their shape and do not need plumping
  • Suspension: Elasticated webbing
  • Arms: Slim padded profile
  • Upholstery: Smooth woven fabric, 100% polyester
  • Base: Fully upholstered to the floor with concealed glides
  • Chaise: Choose left or right facing when ordering — stand facing the couch, the chaise is on that side
  • Assembly: Delivered in sections and connected in the room

Care

  • Vacuum weekly with an upholstery attachment
  • Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — do not rub
  • Spot clean with mild soapy water and a soft cloth
  • Do not bleach or machine wash the covers
  • Rotate the seat cushions regularly so they wear evenly
  • Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading
